With the 45th overall pick, the Broncos select: Beadles

After a busy day Thursday, selecting Demaryius Thomas and Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos have selected Zane Beadles with their 45th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Beadles is a 6-5 / 305 pounds offensive lineman from Utah. He played as a left tackle in college, but is projected to play either guard or center in the NFL, versatility that is valued by coach Josh McDaniels. He scored a 36 on the Wonderlic test during the NFL Scouting Combine in February. In Utah, Beadles was one of the vocal leaders of the Utah lockerroom, and praised by coaches for his work ethic in practice.

Up next: the 80th overall pick in the 3rd round.
