Quarterback Kyle Orton has signed his tender. His new one-year contract is worth $2.621 million. The Broncos now have three Quarterbacks under contract, but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be drafting another.
Orton has had a bit of a roller-coaster ride while with the Broncos, yet his stats have been solid. At a pre-draft news conference Josh McDaniels said he was very impressed with Tim Tebow, to add to Orton's woes, Brady Quinn is already pushing Orton for the starting job. This could be a rough year for Orton, losing Brandon Marshall will defiantly effect his overall stats.
For now, Orton's job is safe, McDaniels has numerous times stated he is the starter.
Outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil is now the Broncos only player who still hasn't signed his tender.
