Breaking it down: Broncos Draft Day 2

After drafting two coveted players on day one, the Broncos started drafting team needs on day two.

With their first pick of the second round, the Broncos selected Zane Beadles, an O-lineman from Utah. One of the most versatile offensive lineman in the draft, Beadles can play at either Tackle or Guard. The Broncos will probably move him to Guard - where they can use some help. Ryan Harris is coming off a bad injury, so Right Tackle depth is also nice. The Broncos 45th pick should pay off, contributing early this season.

In the second round, the Broncos continued to beef up the O-line, drafting Center J.D. Walton 80th overall. This pick is a great value pick for the Broncos, he is one of the better centers in the draft, and is very young. I expect him to be the Broncos starting center in 2010.

Just 7 picks later, the Broncos drafted their second WR of the draft - Eric Decker, of Minnesota. His stats tell it all, 220 catches for 3000 yards and 24 touchdowns. Had he not been injured in his senior year, he never would have slipped into the 3rd round.

The Broncos got some great value in day two, and some sleepers to keep an eye on in 2010. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the conclusion of the 2010 NFL Draft
