Wow L.J. you got problems...

Larry Johnson of KC has been charged with "simple assualt". Johnson who was apparntly aready in danger of being supended by the NFL, the Chiefs said Larry will not be playing for the team in the "foreseeable future". He is being charged for simple assault for spitting his drink in a woman's face. He will meet with Comish Roger Goodell on Tuesday. This is the 4th time in 5 years that he has been accused of assaulting a woman. Chiefs president and general manager Carl Peterson made the following statments: "The case with Larry Johnson has been and continues to be in the hands of the NFL office in New York,...We will defer further comment on the matter until that process has run its due course and the league has concluded its own independent investigation.
"As we have previously indicated, it is in the best interest of both Larry and the Chiefs that Larry focuses his attention on addressing his personal issues. At present, we do not believe Larry can contribute to our team on the field until those issues are resolved."

In 2005 and 2006, Johnson was one of the best running backs in the NFL. He went to the Pro Bowl after rushing for more than 1,750 yards in each season. After a training camp holdout in 2007, he was rewarded with a contract that guaranteed a team-record $19 million. But he was injured the last half of the 2007 season and has been inconsistent so far this year for the Chiefs (1-6).
