Al Davis, is...acting like: Al Davis

For starters I must say: LOL...Al Davis on Tuesday fired and spoke horribly about Lane Kiffin. The Head Coach and Owner of the Raiders have been not treating each other friendly since the start of the season-and after going 1-3 Davis decided to move on.(getty image)
"I reached a point where I felt that the whole staff were fractionalized, that the best thing to do to get this thing back was to make a change, It hurts because I picked the guy. I picked the wrong guy." -Davis

Since being Head Coach starting in '07 Kiffin has got the Raiders 5 wins, and 15 losses. After a blow-out season opener loss to Denver Lane blamed coordinator Rob Ryan and Davis, saying it was "under their control" Owner Davis also said that Kiffin objected to the Raiders using the first pick last year for QB JaMarcus Russell.
"I didn't think it was any one thing, it was a cumulative thing,The pattern just disturbed me." -Davis
The last time in the NFL when a Coach had been fired so early in the year was 1989 when Davis fired Mike Shanahan after four games. Mike went on to become Head Coach of the rival Broncos and have a 21-6 record against the hated Raiders. Al has decided to make offensive line coach Tom Cable an interim Head Coach.
About the decision Cable had to say:
"This is in many ways a strange day,I have a friend who lost a job. That's difficult in this business but, as we know, this is a business. It is time for us to move forward and to put the past behind us. ... We have a good coaching staff here and a good football team here."

The worst team of the decade has been 20-64 since 2003, and I think it's time to stop firing Head Coach's and get a better Owner-it's not that hard to replace an 79-year-old arguably going crazy man.
