Deal for Orton Reportedly in Place

Mike Klis of the Denver Post is reporting that the Denver Broncos and the Miami Dolphins have the basics of a deal that would send Kyle Orton to Miami in place.

This comes with the news that Kyle Orton has left the Broncos team headquarters and is not expected to return for the Broncos 4:00 mandatory meeting. The only remaining piece of the deal is a contract that Orton and the Dolphins are expected to negotiate.

Brace yourselves for more details.

UPDATE: Kyle Orton, contrary to previous reports, has in fact returned to the Broncos headquarters. It is unknown whether he will attend the mandatory 4:00 meeting. He is still supposed to be negotiating a contract with the Dolphins.
