Knock another player off your wish list Broncos fans. Michael Lombardi is reporting on twitter right now that DeAngelo Williams will be staying in Carolina. His contract is over five years, with $43 million ($21 mil guaranteed) supposedly. Williams was linked with the Broncos and his former coach John Fox. This will come as a disappointment to Broncos fans who were looking to lock up Williams as a complimentary backup to Knowshon Moreno.
It has been widely reported that Carolina is trying to retain their key players, of which Williams is one of.
