Celebrating 50 Years Of Bronco Football, Fact #14

As we continue to celebrate 5o years of Denver Broncos football, here is today's Bronco fun fact:
On January 15, 1978 the Broncos played this first ever Super Bowl, but came up short loosing to Dallas, 27-10. Then, on January 25, 1987 Elway led them to the teams second Super Bowl, but the Broncos were up set by the Giants and lost 39-20. But the team bounced back going to the Super Bowl the next year, but on January 31, 1988 the Redskins pounded the Broncos and won 42–10. Just two years later Elway led the Broncos to the Super Bowl again! They played the 49ers on January 28, 1990, but lost 55–10. Then, 8 years later Elway brought them back to the Super on January 25, 1998. This time the team left with rings. As they beat the Packers 31–24. The next year we returned to the Super Bowl, and beat the Falcons 34–19. The Broncos are tied with New England for third most Super Bowl appearances.
