The Broncos head back on the road in Week 6 after playing two consecutive games at INVESCO Field at Mile High. San Diego is the destination, where the team will take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football."A division game is always a little bit bigger because you play them twice and you are more familiar with them," Head Coach Josh McDaniels said. "It is only our sixth game. It is not going to determine the outcome of our season, but we know how important each one of these division games is going to be. We have got five left. This is our first one against San Diego and our second one on the road. This is an extremely important game for our football team."
The team knows it is in for a battle in all three phases of the game if it wants to make it to the bye week without a loss. The key comes down to execution.
"Ball security is going to be an issue. Blocking the blitz is going to be an issue. Finding some space to throw outside on the corners this week is going to be an issue," McDaniels said.
"We know we have got our hands full."
The game, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. MDT, will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and locally on My 20 Denver (KDVT). Stick with DenverBroncos.com for continuing coverage throughout the contest.
