After losing to the fins the Broncos are 4-4, but still on top the AFC West. KC lost on Sunday, the Raiders STANK and were shut out. The Bolts had their bye.
Here is more on the game, via denverbroncos.com:
"The Broncos fought hard, pulling within two points of the visiting Miami
Dolphins with just over 11 minutes left in the game, but turnovers once again
doomed Denver, as the Dolphins came away with the victory, 26-17.
The defense
forced a turnover of their own -- an interception by Karl Paymah -- but Jay Cutler threw three interceptions, and the Dolphins scored
13 points off of them.
There were several bright spots from the game,
including the fact that the defense held a usually potent Miami rushing attack
to 75 yards on the ground. Ronnie Brown was the leading rusher with 59 yards,
and the "Wildcat" offense was mostly ineffective.
Eddie Royal also had a solid day, catching seven passes for 69
yards and a touchdown, tacking on a 95-yard kickoff return and a 16-yard punt
return. Sunday also saw Ryan Torain make his long-awaited debut, though he was used
sparingly -- he only had three carries.
But the star of the day had to be Peyton Hillis. Starting a fullback in place of Spencer Larsen, Hillis caught seven passes for 116 yards and a
touchdown, including a 47-yard catch-and-run, and one 11-yard gain where he
leaped entirely over a Miami defender.
The loss drops the Broncos to 4-4,
though they still sit alone atop the AFC West standings. It's a quick turnaround
for the team, as they travel to Cleveland this week to take on the Browns in the
first Thursday night game of the season."
