Notes, and News

Adam Schefter of nfl.com reported on NFL.com official blog:
"D.J. Williams tore his medial collateral ligament and will be sidelined four weeks, Broncos coach Mike Shanahan confirmed Tuesday. This means that Williams and cornerback Champ Bailey, Denver’s best two defensive players, might not play at all in the month of November.
Also, veteran safety Marlon McCree suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss to Miami and will be out three to four weeks."

Adam Zinser of DenverBroncos.com reported the Broncos made the following deals:
"The team announced the signing of linebacker Mario Haggan to the roster, and they also signed P.J. Pope and Roderick Rogers to the active roster from the practice squad, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.
The Broncos have also waived tight end Chad Mustard and added running back Cory Boyd and linebacker Tyson Smith to the practice squad."

And finally, Al Davis is about to fire DeAngelo Hall, according to rumors. The highly paid free agent has not lived up to his standards he set in Atlanta, and the Raiders are not happy with him.
Dejavu anybody??
