Broncos Smash Jets!

For the third straight time the Broncos have won on the road. Rookie's Peyton Hillis, and Eddie Royal played big. Jay Cutler also had a nice day, with 357 pass yards and 2 TD's he totally outplayed Favre, whom had a INT, and no TD's. Hillis got 22 carries and smashed out 129 rush yards, and a TD. He also had another rushing TD, but it was called back because of holding. Eddie Royal had a huge 59 yard touchdown catch, and had 5 catches on the night. The Broncos did a very good job spreading the ball around, 7 WR's caught passes. Vernon Fox got the first TD of his vet career, after snatching a fumble in the first quarter. Elvis showed up again, with a forced fumble, and sack. He now has 4 sacks on the year, and 25.0 sacks in his young career.

It was over when ... Jay Cutler caught the Jets off guard on third-and-2 in the fourth quarter. With New York's secondary expecting a short passing route, Brandon Stokley was left wide open behind safety Abram Elam for a 36-yard touchdown that gave Denver a 34-17 lead with 9:26 remaining.

Game ball Playing in slick, rainy conditions, Cutler picked apart New York's secondary, completing 27 of 43 passes for 357 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Key stat The Broncos took a 27-14 lead into halftime, scoring 14 points off two Jets turnovers.
