Random news, more on Tom and Broncos sign Fox, no not Foxy

The Denver Broncos Head Coach Mike Shanahan on Tuesday announced that the team signed free-agent DB Vernon Fox. Also they made (in my opinion) the best move ever, and waived safety Hamza Abdullah! Yes. Be gone with you! He's they only Bronco that I never have liked. In his seventh year in the NFL, Fox brings some Vet ability to our Safety secondary. The last two years he has been a Washington Redskin. Where he made a small name for himself. The Skins release him the 25th of August. He played for Fresno State University then was picked up as a free agent by the Chargers in 2002. He also was a Lion. More on him later...

"The Denver Broncos on Tuesday placed center Tom Nalen on injured reserve with a left knee injury, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.
A 15-year veteran, Nalen ranks second in Broncos history in career starts (188) while his 194 career games played in a Denver uniform represent the third-highest total in club annals. (photo - ap) He entered the league with the Broncos as a seventh-round selection (218th overall) in the 1994 NFL Draft from Boston College."-DenverBronocs.com
When I first heard the news I thought the same thing Garrett has reported on BroncoMadness.com:
"It looks like it may be the beginning of the end for the future Hall of Famer Tom Nalen. This morning the Broncos placed him on the injury reserve with a left knee injury Mike Shanahan officially announced. ...Tom Nalen and though he is not officially retired I doubt that we will ever see him suit up in the old orange and blue jerseys again."
I so agree, but it is so sad. I think he's done. I wish him best, Tom you were awesome.

In other news-"The Denver Broncos on Wednesday signed guard Dylan Gandy to their active roster and added cornerback Josh Bell to their practice squad, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced.
Gandy is a fourth-year guard who rejoins the Broncos after he was released by the club on Sept. 9. Originally signed by the Broncos on May 16, Gandy competed in Denver’s training camp and was inactive for its season opener at Oakland on Sept. 8.
Bell is a rookie cornerback who joins the Broncos after San Diego waived him on Aug. 31. He entered the NFL with the Chargers on May 2 as a college free agent from Baylor University." -DenverBroncos.com
