NFL week 1 Review (Part 1)

The NFL season started off this Thursday, and every week I'll give you a review of the scores and highlights of every NFL game.
So here we go week 1:

Giants_Skins
E. Manning was 19 of 35 passes for 216yrds. and 1 INT. Manning also ran for the games first score. He had help from Plexico Burress who caught 10 Eli passes for 133 yards. Brandon Jacobs was my MVP of the game, he smashed the 'D'. (Photo by Al Bello Getty Images) On 21 carries he had 116 yards. On defence Justin Tuck had six tackles and 1 sack. The Redskins did not do so good...Portis had only 84 yards on 23 carries. On 'D' Jason Taylor made tow tackels. But he was shut out the whole game, often having the Giants run right by him.
At half the score was 16-7 Giants and stayed the same the whole game NY won.

Falcons_Lions
In the game Matt Ryan was one of the big stories but another player who got big head lines was Michael Turner. (AP Photo John Bazemore) Ryan in his first NFL start was 9-13 on completions, with on TD. Turner had 22 carries, 220 yards and 2 Touchdowns. It was 34-21 Falcons won.

Ravens_Bengals
The big story about this game was about anther rookie QB. Joe Flacco, he was 15 of 29, for 129 yards. He did not score in the air but he did have a 38 yard easy Touchdown run. I know that sounds funny, but it was easy. (Photo by Ned Dishman Getty Images)He was hardly joging, and he ran right by the Bengals. On the Bengals side things stank. Palmer had a pick and only 99 passing yards. The newly named Chad Javon, had only ONE catch. New name helping popblisity, but not playing skills. The Bengals only TD came on defence when Jonathan Joseph picked up a Ray Rice fumble and ran it to the house which was 66 yards away. on fourth and one at about the Ravens 25 the Bengals went for it with about 7:15 on the clock and the run up the middle came up well short.
The final score was 17-10 Ravens won.

Bills_Hawks
Trent Edwards had 1 TD and 215 yards. Roscoe Parrish showed off again his great kick return skill as he ran back a 63 yarder for a score.(Photo by Rick Stewart/Getty Images)
Runing back Lynch also had a TD as the Bills down-right beat the Seahawks 34-10.

Jets_Fins
Brett Favre, Brett Favre, Brett Favre, bla, bla, bla.(Photo by Rick Stewart Getty Images) I bet you are sick of that oh well, 'cause he did pretty good. He went 194 yards and 2 TD's. It was a good game in which the Jets luckily came out on top 20-14.
