The Broncos came away with their third win in as many weeks of the 2008 season, putting up offensive and defensive fireworks early to build a 21-3 lead and holding strong to come away with a 34-32 victory against the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints failed on an attempted a two-point conversion that would have tied the game midway through the fourth quarter, and the Broncos stopped a New Orleans drive on third-and-1 on the Denver 24-yard line, forcing a 43-yard field goal attempt by Martin Gramatica that went wide right and helped wrap up the win.
Two Jay Cutler touchdown passes, one Michael Pittman touchdown run, a defensive touchdown on a fumble return by Nate Webster and two Matt Prater field goals were enough to put the Broncos over the top.
The win puts the Broncos at 3-0, and they maintain sole posession of first place in the AFC West. The team travels to division-rival Kansas City for a chance to build the lead a little more.
