Turnovers doomed the Broncos Sunday, as they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Denver fumbled three times, losing two to the Chiefs, and Jay Cutler threw two interceptions. Larry Johnson's 198 yards and two touchdowns for Kansas City helped seal up the game.
There were some bright spots, such as Matt Prater's performance. He made four out of five field goals -- from 56, 51, 33 and 22 yards out. Cutler threw for more than 360 yards and one touchdown, and Eddie Royal caught nine of his passes for more than 100 yards.
During the game, Broncos wide receiver Clifford Russell was carted off the field with a neck sprain. Check with DenverBroncos.com for updates on the injury.
The loss puts the Broncos' overall record at 3-1 this season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to INVESCO Field at Mile High next week.
