- With training camp just a day away, the Broncos last remaining unsigned draft selection has signed. Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas agreed to terms with the team Saturday, joining the eight other 2010 draft picks who have already signed. According to a league source, the max value of Thomas’ contract is $15.5 million with escalators.
- The Broncos also on Saturday acquired linebacker Joe Mays from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for running back J.J. Arrington. Mays will add nice depth to the linebackers as well as special teams. The trade is good news for Lance Ball and Kolby Smith, who will now compete for the third string running back position.
