More On The Game

The Broncos are now 3-0 on the road in the AFC West, after they beat down KC 44-13. Denver is now 8-4, but still second in the AFC West. Next week the Broncos take on the Colts. Here are some notes on the game:
* Kyle Orton had his Ups, and his Downs. He had an interception, and was sacked and stripped twice. Although he came back with touchdown passes to Daniel Graham and Brandon Marshall.
* Speaking of Marshall, he had only Ups. Marsh had 7 catches for 94 yards and a score, and 2 rush yards. Marshall is only about 200 yards short of a 1,000-yard season. Brandon has also tied his career high for touchdown catches in one season. So Orton-to-Marshall is working out just about as good as Cutler-to-Marshall.
* Josh McDaniels' Broncos won in Arrowhead in December, Shanahan's Broncos were never able to do that.

* Buckhalter was on fire, with 12 rushes for 113 yards, but he left the scoring to rookie Moreno. Knowshon scored twice, and added 86 yards. Peyton Hillis came in late in the game and rushed 7 times for almost 50 yards.

* Matt Pratter was 3-for-3 on field goals, and had 14 points in the game.

* Elvis Dumervil recorded his 15th sack of the season. The defense added another sack, 2 interceptions, and a forced fumble that was returned by Andre Goodman for a touchdown.

It was a great game! The Broncos are now 8-4 and very much in the playoff race! View more photos on our facebook page!
