Broncos Browns Preview
Week 2, NFL, Invesco Field Mile High. After a crazy game in Cincy, the Broncos go home to take on the Browns. The Browns were blown away by Adrian Peterson last week, something Bronco fans are hoping to see from Knowshon Moreno. The backs in Denver are ready for a challenge. As Buckhalter quoted:
"It's going to be a challenge for us, but we're ready to face the challenge."
Expect Denver's defense to get physical, and the offense to move the ball around better than in week one. Brady Quinn is learning, but he is quickly, the secondary will have to be ready to go up against Edwards, and Josh Cribbs. Special Teams may miss Spencer Larsen, they'll have to step up playing a top-notch return man. Should be a great game. Shannon Sharpe is being inducted the the Broncos Ring Of Fame at halftime, will make it even more exciting. Here are some Bronco quotes:
Stokley: "That's the great thing about the NFL -- good game, bad game, come Wednesday you kind of put it behind you, move on and get ready for the next week."
Head Coach Josh McDaniels: "It is a high priority for our team to start fast and play well here in front of our home crowd, any time you can get the energy in the stadium at a fever pitch early in the game, it always helps your performance and makes it tougher on them."
Dawkins: "You want to disrupt the quarterback, no matter if he has been in there for two years or 13 or eight or whatever, you want to disrupt. You don't want to sit back there and let him feel comfortable in the pocket. This week will be no different for us as a defense."
Marshall: "I think (Browns Head) Coach (Eric) Mangini is doing a great job with the guys, just getting them to do what they're supposed to do, do their job, and it's making it tough on opposing offenses." Excited for the game, go Broncos!!
