The Ravens up ended the Broncos in week 8. The Broncos can't let this effect their season in a down spin like last year. They play the Steelers at home next week on Monday Night Football. The game was pre-cursed from the first play when Orton was sacked. After that he never had anything going his way. All day the offense disappointed. And special teams was poor, Royal didn't have much return room and we allowed a kick return for a touchdown. Our new punter got plenty of work with 8 punts, that is the most our offense has been forced to punt this year. Our defense allowed two touchdowns, and overall the 'D' wasn't its stellar self. Adre' Goodman was exposed all game, including on the TD pass that was against his man. Our linebackers and D-line had its moments, with 2 sacks, and tackles for loss. But Joe Flacco was 20 of 25 for 175 yards and a score. While Ray Rice rushed 23 times for 84 yards and a score. Those numbers are not huge, but with bad special teams, and our poor offensive play it was a all Raven game. Orton finished 23 of 37 for only 152 yards, Buckhalter had a slow day with 8 rushes for 16 yards. Moreno had a fumble when he was hit by Ed Reed on a screen, but apart from that Knowshon had a good game with about 40 yards and the Broncos only touchdown. It was not a good game to watch. Ryan Harris left the game injured, but walked off on his own will. The Denver Post Reports: "Ryan Harris was on crutches, with right foot heavily wrapped and in one of those soft, flat-bottom shoes."
