Garrett Hartley is a rookie kicker from the University of Oklahoma who joined the Broncos as a college free agent on April 28, 2008... Received second-team All-Big 12 Conference honors during each of his final two years with the Sooners... Finished his career ranked third in Oklahoma history in field goals made (47) and sixth in points scored (310)... Played 43 career games for the Sooners, connecting on 47-of-58 (.810) field goal attempts and 169-of-176 (.960) extra point attempts.... Converted 13-of-15 (.866) field goal attempts as a senior, earning second-team all-conference honors... Made a career-best 53-yard field goal against Utah State as a senior, a kick that marked the seventh-longest field goal in school history, and had a streak of 14 consecutive field goal conversions... Named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award (nation's best kicker) as a junior, setting a school record with a .950 field goal percentage (19-of-20) and totaling 31 touchbacks on 78 kickoffs to pick up second-team All-Big 12 honors...
