Madden09

I am a HUGE Madden fan, when I was like ten my older brother went shopping with my mom and when he got back he had a computer game with him, called Madden NFL 2003. That was what got me started with not just Madden's but also football period. My family had lived in Denver in the '90's so that's where I got into all the Bronco stuff.

Well anyway the main reason I am talking about Madden is the "curse" and our low ratings on '09. Our linebacker's are crazy, we are WAAAAY better than that! And no wonder the Packers don't wont Brett Favre, he's been cursed! They will be lucky if the Bucks or Jets take him. John (Madden) thought he was smart and put a retired player on his game to "stop" the curse, but it sure didn't work. Madden, you didn't do so good this year, I love how Eli Manning shot way up from his 85 rating, he did not get all that much better just cause he won one game. Niko is gonna show how totally wrong you are about his ratings!

I can't wait to play it. :)

Ryan Torain gone 6-8 weeks..."That's football"

When the Broncos were doing offensive VS. defensive drills rookie running back Ryan Torain ran right on a run and fell awkwardly with defensive players all over him. Torain broke a bone in the upper elbow. Coach Mike Shanahan thinks he'll be out 6 to 8 weeks. Torain will will get an MRI today.

Coach said just what I thought when I heard the news:
"That’s football, You’re going to lose guys, there’s nothing you can do about it. Except get better.”

Marshall suspended 3 games!! :(

I really wanted to see him play the Raiders...stink!!

Statement by an NFL spokesperson:
Brandon Marshall of the Denver Broncos has been suspended without pay for the team’s first three regular-season games of 2008 for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. If Marshall fully complies with required counseling and other conditions of the suspension, Commissioner Goodell will consider reducing the suspension to two games.
Subject to a potential appeal, Marshall’s three-game suspension would begin on Saturday, August 30 and he would be eligible to return to the Broncos’ active roster on Monday, September 22 following the team’s September 21 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Marshall is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.
