The Future is NOW

In the 2006 NFL draft the Denver Broncos selected Jay Cutler, and the Titans drafted Vince Young, rumors were that the Broncos were gonna trade up and get Matt Leinart but the Cardinals selected him. And each team stated that the QB's were the quarterback(s) of the future.(Meaning that they would eventually take the starting job behind Center). Well the "future" is now.The draft has been compared to the '83 draft when the Baltimore Colts selected John Elway, and the Miami Dolphins drafted Dan Marino. Matt has 16 starts 13 passing touchdowns against 16 pics, his QB rating is 71.2. Leinart has been playing all around the merry-go-round with Kurt Warner, many people want Kurt to sit and Matt to start a full season. Vince Young has more experience with 28 starts, but is 21 pass TD's is not to good compared to his 30 pics. His QB rate is 69.o. He is known to play more like a running back trying to play QB, 974 rush yards and 10 TD's but his also had 22 fumbles. Many fans are glad that he is going to start this fall, but many are kinda mad at him and want him to mature. For Jay it is NOW or NEVER, the QB has started 21 games, with 29 touchdowns vs. 19 int's. He has a 88.2 QB rating. Cutler is 9-12 as a starter, the Broncos hope he can EXPLODE this year with the help of WR Brandon Marshall. If Jay has a losing year this fall, fans will tare his head off, if not coach Shanahan's head. If he can stay calm and get some good time in the pocket with the help of LT Ryan Clady on the line he could easy take the Broncos to the Playoffs or the Super Bowl.
